Pytanie: My fellow Americans; does the 1st amendment make up for every other thing you dislike about America?

kinda. i mean somethings about this country really grinds my gears, but the 1st amendment really speaks to me, it reassures the fact that besides the crappy government and horrible legislation that this really is a great country.

Yes. The thing I dislike the most about America is American conservatism, but as long as I'm free to voice my displeasure, even it is tolerable.

Do you know what I love about America? How I can have my tax payer money stolen from me to pay for some guy to try and hunt me down and lock me in a cage because I smoke marijuana. Heck, I mean even Barack Obama has admitted to using illegal drugs. I wonder if he feels he would have been better off had someone knocked down his door, handcuffed him ad locked him up for a few years? Elitist scum.

The First Amendment isn't even enforced. The FCC can fine a company for using language it deems inappropriate. So congress can't make a law abridging the freedom of speech, but congress can make an organization that is allowed to abridge freedom of speech? What is the point of the 1st amendment then?

edit- All drugs should be legal, not just the ones I use. I don't think that I am better than other people, or that my drug of choice should get special privileges over other drugs.

It's the fear, hate and misinformation that is spewed that is not so great.

I don't dislike anything about America but I sure like being able to call some Elitist Despot a Tyrant and I love being able to inform wise thinking Americans about those tyrants.
