It's called inalienable rights. We feel that people are born with these rights. Individual liberty to pursue happiness without the strong arm of government dictating every aspect of our lives. The Constitution clearly states that government should be limited. Our federal government's first and foremost duty is to protect the citizens from outside threats by providing a standing army.

Look around the world and see what other countries were founded on giving the power to the people, not the government. Americans as a whole have a much higher standard of living than most of the world. Our "poor people" have cell phones, cable tv and computers...living better than many countries middle class. Thank capitalism for that.

We turn on the faucet and have clean water, we flush out toilets and the waste is taken away from our homes. We have the convenience of washing our clothes in machines, instead of beating them against a rock in the same river we piss in. We need food, just go to a store that's within a few miles of our home...there it is....more variety than you can ask for and it's all prepackaged. Much of the world does not have the luxuries we do.

It's not a question of "the right way" in as much as it is a question of "the wrong way". To be perfectly blunt, the U.S. does not care what small crap hole Nations do or do not. The U.S. does not care if a Nation is socialist, communist, tyrannical or a theocracy (though we might give lip service to freedom & liberity). The U.S. does not care if a Countries abuse their women or sleep with12 year old.

What the U.S. cares about is about the stability of the world. We only had a problem with Iraq when Saddam decided he wanted to invade Kuwait. We only have a problem with Iran because they support terrorist networks that kill American Citizens & de-stabilize the world. We only have a problem with North Korea when the start saber rattling. We only have a problem with Afghanistan when they protect terrorist organization that have caused harm to us.
