Pytanie: How many English words do I have to remember to live in America at least?

I know someone who knows someone whose uncle is a farmer in Texas.His uncle only finished his middle school.He only knows all the most basic and fundamental English words,say around 3000.And he can say anything he wants to .

My point is that what really matters is not how many you know.It is how well you can use what you have.

Of course,the more words you have under your belt,the better.But remember,you have to know how to use them.
otherwise,all your efforts would be in vain.

I think 6000 is enough for you to live their.

All the English you know will be just fine.They speak English almost everywhere.
