i was talking to a classmate recently and i mentioned that i was watching an anime, and she said, "O you're one of those people." i was wonderin why people in American seem to be either obsessed with or look down on manga/anime.

I just don't know about my girlfriend. -_-?

You know for the past year we have been dating I have given up alot of things that would not make her jealous or worry about me. I have alot of female friends and I don't meet any of them even though they were my friends for at least 2 years. I have tried my best to buy my girlfriend food even though I barely have any money, which leads me to starve most of the time. Then again she seems say that she loves me and wants to be with me, and apparently doesn't want me to go back to America to study and graduate. So I am apparently attending a Korean University with her, trying to spend alot of time with her.
The weirdest thing I want to tell you guys is that whenever she is mad and I don't let her go to her room when I am trying to show her that I want to be with her and hug her. She bites me... I have at least 5 scars on my body that was from her, includding my hand. We have no intimacy. Shes a virgin, and since I'm a guy I am always struggling and feel reallly really sad even though I love her so much. I took her to an amusement park with the money I have which was not alot. I always try my best to trust in her love. Then again I been getting paranoid lately about her feelings towards me. I feel as if my love and her love is very uneven. Then again I want to remind you guys that she is Chinese and I am Korean American.

What do you think Obama should do to create jobs?

I am still certain that a lot of jobs are not coming back because of job losses overseas. Unemployment will remain high until the people that lost these jobs for good retrain and find other work. I feel now is the time for politicians to represent the people instead of corporate interests. One thing Obama could do is to renegotiate free trade agreements so that trading partners enforce similar labor agreements such as establishing a living wage and viable working conditions. This way American labor can compete globally. Another is to update the immigration laws and tighten the borders a little. They should go old school on immigration law. If you don't have a job lined up, housing lined up, and at least some money saved, you can't come in. Do away with H 1 B visas.

These would certainly help. Also, make corporations earn their tax cuts. Cut taxes for corporations that hire american labor.

This would be a start. Clearing up confusion about the tax laws and the health care reform would help to remove uncertainty in corporate america as well. But I believe we have to start with fair labor negotiations with trading partners.

How do I get my in-laws off my case?

Okay, this may seem like a vent, but there is a point.

I am American. My in-laws are Egyptian. I am currently in Egypt to stay with them until my son is born in December. My husband is still in the US.

I have been having some complications with this pregnancy. Remember, I am used to American standards of health care and do not agree with many things the doctors here say. One of the medicines the doctor prescribed to me contains Paracetamol which America says do not take while pregnant because it isn't safe (a baby is twice as likely to suffer from asthma) but the doctors here insist it is safe.

My husband and I both agreed not to take this medicine although my in-laws keep trying to get me to take it.

Then I have had severe pain in my abdomen which I assume is gas. I told them I need an antacid (in America every single doctor says it is safe during pregnancy because it is not absorbed into the intestine or bloodstream). They refused saying they need to ask the doctor if it is okay.

How do I get them to stop insulting me and acting like this is their baby. This is mine and my husband's baby. I refused to take another medication due to the potential harm and then they assume I am stupid enough to take something that would harm my baby? I obviously know more about this than they do and they are really getting on my nerves that I am about to ask my husband to get me my own place and move out.

Please help before I lose all my sanity and actually explode!
Thanks everyone. I wish I could go back to the USA, at least until December, but my daughter is starting school (at a top school in the middle east) and we cannot miss that opportunity for her. I wanted my in-laws to be apart of the birth of this baby, but I just feel overwelmed. My mother-in-law is great, but she cannot speak English and I cannot speak Arabic yet. The only one I can rely on is my sister-in-law and she is starting to get on my nerves.

Could we build a canal from the gulf to pacific on the american mexican boarder to help limit immigration?

i was thinking, (yah it may lead to spending alot more money) build a canal on the boarder of the america and mexico boarder. we could do it leading from the gulf to pacific, instead of using the panama canal, so trade and other shipping of goods would be easier plus, it would help limit the number of immigrants.plus it would give alot of people jobs again (just like building the railroad but this time without any slave workers). i mean does this sound totally crazy? im 19 and i dont really like getting involved in the government but i really want some kind of solution done about this to where everyone is happy.. (even if that cant happen the majority of people mexican and american are happy).

not if there were ports for the most part, and it would pay off in the end when we get better trade and jobs for people working the new ports. i was watching how the states were formed and most states want water front property. by creating a canal arizona and new mexico would get more water front property therefore helping it out of the economic crisis.

Mario Laguna-Guerrero had been dating his 17-year-old girlfriend for two years and even lived with her and her mother before he made a decision that would change their relationship forever.Laguna, struggling to repay a debt to smugglers who brought him into the country from Mexico, decided to become a pimp -- driving his girlfriend to migrant labor camps in Hillsborough County, Florida, and selling her for sex.

Over four months in late 2009, as many as 80 men slept with the teenage girl while Laguna pocketed $25 a head. He later pressured his girlfriend to recruit high school classmates to work as prostitutes too.

Law enforcement agents arrested Laguna in April and charged him with sex trafficking of a minor, a federal crime.

Go to yahoo's main page click on any story related to Arizona's immigration law and then post a comment adding Constitution and trust me when I say it will be filtered which is a basis of censorship.
